Packing Peanuts
Packing peanuts are the most practical solution for filling empty space in cardboard boxes, preventing products from moving during transport and absorbing the impact of drops and knocks.
Airpack offers peanuts in expanded polystyrene (EPS) and in a biodegradable maize-starch version, allowing you to choose the option best suited to your environmental requirements and level of protection.
Easy to apply and with excellent cushioning performance, packing peanuts are ideal for e-commerce businesses, pharmacies, craft shops and any despatch operation handling fragile products.
Available types
- Classic EPS peanuts — white expanded polystyrene; excellent cushioning, low cost
- Anti-static EPS peanuts — special formulation for electronic components
- Biodegradable peanuts — maize starch base, water-soluble; certified compostable
- Available in 300L and 500L bags, or in bulk 1000L big-bags
- Recommended fill density: 10–15 kg/m³ for standard protection
